The published service catalog includes APIs for real-time flight lookup, quote selection, USDC escrowed booking, order inquiry, and refund requests. ② This goes beyond “agents can pay”: a single task requires integrating flight inventory, price confirmation, payment processing, and fulfillment—not merely transferring a stablecoin to another wallet. ③ Some APIs use x402 pay-per-use pricing, but the absence of traditional accounts at the API layer doesn’t mean passenger identity information is unnecessary. The service flow still requires submitting traveler details and completing the booking. ④ Currently confirmed: the official announcement and API catalog exist. No actual bookings were made during this round, and the full ticket issuance and refund process has not been verified. A successful on-chain escrow does not equate to an airline having issued a ticket. My own assessment: This is a use case I’m willing to track, because it must be accountable for real-world outcomes.
