been reading the new @Americanfort_io paper and one idea kept sticking with me how do you prove one payment without exposing everything else around it normally a reusable wallet address makes that pretty awkward share the address and someone can start digging through the wallet history hide every address and it gets harder to prove that one specific payment later the FortressName approach tries to separate those two things you keep one name, but each payment is sent to a fresh address and the sender can attach a proof that links that particular payment to a registered identity so if an auditor comes back asking about one transfer, you can prove that payment without opening up the rest of the wallet history i’m still wondering how often people will actually need this most of the time you just want the payment to arrive and move on but the moment someone asks for proof later, being able to show one transaction without exposing everything else starts to look pretty useful SafeSend still isn’t live, and beta names can’t receive real funds yet still watching how @Americanfort_io handles the sender side as this develops
