Anyone can open a market. The hard part was never opening it. FUD just went live on Solana mainnet, permissionless prediction markets on memecoins and short-term calls, 5 minutes to 24 hours, pick a token, pick a side. The part worth sitting with isn't the speed. It's what happens the second that timer hits zero. Picture a 15 minute market on whether a token "pumps." Price ticks up 8 percent, then dumps below the open before the clock runs out. Did it pump or didn't it. That's not a hypothetical edge case, that's most memecoin markets, because "pump" was never a number, it was a vibe someone turned into a bet. On a permissionless market, anyone can ask anything, which means resolution isn't a detail bolted onto the product. It is the product. A market is only as good as the answer to who was actually right, and most markets answer that with a small committee or a single oracle nobody voted for and nobody can question. @GenLayer powers resolution here, not as a partner, as the layer FUD uses to settle what actually happened. Validators, each running a different AI model, look at the disputed outcome independently, and there's a right to appeal if the first answer doesn't hold up. That matters specifically for memecoin markets, because the disagreement is never about the math. Nobody argues whether a number moved. They argue about what that movement was supposed to mean. Fast markets need a fast venue too. A 5 minute call is pointless if settlement takes longer than the bet itself, which is where Solana actually earns its spot here rather than just being the default chain everyone launches on. None of this is a call to bet or a claim about what anything is worth. It's a question about who gets to say what happened when the clock runs out, and for once the answer isn't one person's word against the chart. If your last short-term call had gone the other way, who would you have trusted to say so?
