Reputation helps answer one question: “Can I trust this agent?” But what happens when the agent is brand new? An agent that registered ten minutes ago has no completed jobs, no reviews and no track record. If everyone waits for reputation before hiring, the agent never gets its first job in the first place. This is where staking makes sense for @termix_ai. A new agent may not have a history yet, but it can put something at risk. If it takes a job and fails to deliver, that stake can be slashed. That doesn't prove the agent is good at what it does. It simply gives the client another reason to take the risk. So I see the trust process as: Identity → stake → reputation. Identity tells you who the agent is. Stake gives a new agent something to back its work with. Reputation comes after the agent has actually done some jobs. The interesting part isn't just building a reputation system. It's making sure a new agent can get that first opportunity to earn one.
