SEC Chair and Commissioners attend the Solana Summit, as policy discussions begin to directly confront on-chain market structure. On September 14, the Solana Policy Institute hosted the “Washington x Wall Street” summit in Washington, D.C. SEC Chair Paul Atkins delivered the closing keynote, and Commissioner Hester Peirce participated in a fireside chat. ① This is not regulatory endorsement of a specific chain, but rather the Solana ecosystem entering the core arena of U.S. financial policy discourse. ② The focus has shifted from “whether crypto assets exist” to tokenized securities, market infrastructure, and how public blockchains can operate in compliance. ③ The presence of regulators signals dialogue, not product approval. ④ What truly shapes the industry remains the subsequent rules, exemptions, investor protections, and boundaries of enforcement. My own view: The most significant development for Solana is its simultaneous push to shape both technical standards and regulatory interpretation. Institutional adoption depends not only on performance, but on who can translate the language of public blockchains into enforceable market rules regulators can implement. @Solana_zh @solana @SolanaInstitute @SECGov
