Good night everyone. Think about it like this You take a robot and put it somewhere it has never been before. What it does there isn’t only about the AI model first it needs to understand the place around it. Which path is clear where the obstacles are what has changed whether something is in a different place... All of that comes from real world data. I think @vangrid_io is trying something interesting here. Instead of relying only on dedicated sensors it uses phones people already carry to collect 3D data from the real world. That data can then be verified and recorded including where it came from. So it’s not simply use your phone to capture something... It’s about taking data from the world as it is today and making it usable later. I think this side of things will get more attention as physical AI grows. Because giving robots intelligence isn’t enough. They also need to actually understand the world around them. And that’s where Vangrid seems to be building the data layer. 👀
