I spent the last week going through every major robotics data platform before deciding where to put my time. most of them are solving the wrong problem. here's the thing nobody in "physical AI" wants to say out loud: your robot doesn't need a better brain. it needs to have SEEN more. LLMs got smart because the internet handed them trillions of words for free. robots don't have that. there is no "internet of physical movement" sitting around waiting to be scraped. someone has to go create it. task by task, motion by motion, human by human. that's the actual bottleneck. not GPUs. not model size. data that doesn't exist yet. @axisrobotics is one of the only projects treating this as the core problem instead of a footnote. you do a task. it gets verified. it gets signed on-chain. it becomes training data a robot can actually learn from. this is what ImageNet did for computer vision in 2009. same shape, different domain. I did my first Trajectory this week. "Kitchen Utensil Arrangement," 7 steps, move the fork, move the knife, stack the plate, stack the jam jar. step 7 of 7. jam jar placed. task basically done. jam jar decides to jump off the plate. full restart. that's the part nobody shows you. this isn't clicking a button and calling it data. it's doing the same task over and over until it's clean enough that a robot can actually learn from it. if physical AI is going to work, this unglamorous part has to get built first.
