gRaiku 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲 Imagine having the right strategy, seeing the right market condition, and sending the transaction immediately. It still doesn't guarantee the execution you wanted. That's because on-chain trading isn't only a race against time. It's also a race for where your transaction lands in the execution flow. This distinction becomes much more important when the trades get larger and the strategies get more sophisticated. A few milliseconds can separate a profitable execution from a worse one. But shaving milliseconds off transmission doesn't solve everything if the transaction still has an uncertain path once it reaches the validator. That's the part of Solana's execution stack that @raikucom is focused on. 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Raiku's approach is interesting because it works directly at the validator layer rather than treating the validator as a distant destination. The closer your execution strategy is to the environment where transactions are ordered and included, the more control you can potentially have over that execution path. Think of it less as: “How do I send this faster?” and more as: “How do I make the path from strategy to execution more predictable?” That is a much deeper infrastructure question. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 For retail traders, execution differences may sometimes feel like minor inconveniences. For sophisticated strategies operating at scale, uncertainty itself becomes a cost. You want your infrastructure to behave consistently when volatility increases, competition intensifies, and every small timing advantage matters. That's why the evolution of on-chain trading shouldn't be measured only by lower latency. It should also be measured by how much uncertainty exists between deciding to trade and actually getting the execution you intended. Raiku is attacking that second problem.
