Solana Fees Approach 9,200 SOL on a Seven-Day Average as Non-Vote Transactions Hit Record 191M Solana network fees, denominated in SOL, reached a seven-day average of nearly 9,200 SOL on Aug. 27, up more than 80% from three months earlier. Seven-day non-vote transactions also reached a record 191 million, up from 88 million a year ago, while Jito validator tips averaged 2,073 SOL per day over the past week, up 26% week over week. Meanwhile, the SGP-0002 “Double Disinflation” proposal passed with 67.001% support. Under the proposal, staking yields are projected to fall from about 5.25% to 2.25% by year three, potentially pressuring validators that rely more heavily on inflation rewards than transaction-fee revenue, particularly smaller independent operators.
