Ramp opens stablecoin accounts to 70,000+ enterprise customers; Solana is among the first supported networks. Ramp—a global enterprise payment platform—officially opens stablecoin accounts to all 70,000+ enterprise customers. Solana is one of seven supported networks. ① What does this mean? Over 70,000 businesses can now send and receive stablecoins like USDC on Solana through Ramp—without building their own on-chain infrastructure. Ramp handles all the complexity. ② Meanwhile, Open Standard has launched Open USD (OUSD)—a stablecoin project backed by BlackRock—with zero minting fees, zero redemption fees, no limits, and the majority of reserve interest returned to using businesses. Solana has been selected as one of the launch chains. On the day of the announcement, Circle’s (CRCL) stock dropped 15%. ③ My own assessment: Together, these two announcements signal that enterprise adoption of stablecoins is moving from “pilot” to “scale.” 70,000 enterprises is not an experimental number—it’s a real market. OUSD’s pricing model (zero fees + interest to users) directly challenges Circle’s traditional approach. When a BlackRock-backed stablecoin enters the market with “user-friendly” pricing, competition among stablecoin issuers enters a new phase. For Solana, more stablecoin competition means more on-chain liquidity and better payment experiences. @solana @Solana_zh #Ramp #OUSD #Solana #EnterpriseStablecoin
