🔗 Raydium brings regulated assets to Solana DeFi @Raydium has taken a new step toward connecting traditional finance and decentralized markets with the launch of permissioned AMMs, an infrastructure designed to enable regulated assets and tokenized securities trading within the Solana ecosystem. The new model allows financial issuers to create liquidity pools with access controls based on identity verification, combining regulatory compliance with automated smart contract execution. Unlike traditional AMMs, these pools restrict participation to approved users. Superstate became the first partner to adopt the infrastructure through its Opening Bell platform, where it plans to operate publicly registered tokenized equities and enable their trading within DeFi. The move comes as institutional interest in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization continues to grow. According to Ark Invest projections, the global tokenized asset market could reach $11 trillion by 2030, opening new pathways for financial markets on blockchain networks. $RAY Raydium joins a broader DeFi trend, with protocols such as Uniswap and Orca also exploring permissioned models designed to connect traditional assets with decentralized infrastructure. The next challenge will be measuring institutional adoption, real trading volumes and whether these solutions can balance regulatory requirements with the open nature of blockchain markets.
