@ShiftRWA vs. Perpetual Futures Perpetual futures have become the default way to trade with leverage in crypto. They offer flexibility, but they also introduce complexity. When trading perps, you're constantly thinking about funding rates, margin requirements, liquidation prices, and position management. Your return isn't driven solely by the market; it's also influenced by the mechanics of the perpetual contract itself. @ShiftRWA approaches leveraged exposure differently. Instead of opening a leveraged derivatives position, users hold an SPL token that already represents leveraged exposure through a 1:1 backed leveraged ETF position. The leverage is embedded in the asset rather than created by borrowing capital. That changes the user experience. You don't manage collateral. You don't monitor a liquidation threshold. You don't worry about your position being forcibly closed because of a temporary price swing. This doesn't mean the investment becomes less volatile. Leveraged exposure is still leveraged exposure, and significant market moves can lead to significant losses. The distinction is in the infrastructure. Perpetual futures are derivative contracts requiring active position management. @ShiftRWA packages leveraged exposure into a token that can be held, transferred, and integrated throughout the Solana ecosystem like other SPL assets. It's a different financial primitive for accessing leverage on-chain.
