🚨 Jito Labs launches JTX, a self-custodial trading platform for Solana. The platform combines self-custody with execution tools typically reserved for professional platforms: limit orders, automated execution, and conditional orders. CEO Lucas Bruder assures users that they retain control of their keys, settlement occurs on-chain, and there is no custody compromise. Spot trading supports SOL, cbBTC, HYPE, memecoins, as well as tokenized stocks and ETFs. Jito charges a fee on every trade: 80% funds the buyback and burn of JTO for the benefit of the DAO, while the remaining 20% go to referrers. JTX joins the Jito Block Engine, JitoSOL, BAM, and the JTO token in the product suite. Perpetuals, prediction markets, and a native mobile app are announced for future releases. Solana accounted for 54% of global DEX spot volume in the first half of 2026, with an average of $425 billion traded monthly, according to Birdeye data cited by Jito.
