Learning First @EthraShip I expected the latest @EthraShip portal update to be another points campaign. It wasn't. The first thing that stood out is that the portal doesn't immediately push you toward deposits, trading, or buying anything. Instead, the early missions are built around understanding the ecosystem. Set up your identity. Read the protocol briefing. Record your contributions. Invite others. Follow the project as it develops. That feels intentional. If the goal is to bring a complex industry like maritime infrastructure onchain, people probably need to understand what they're actually participating in before financial products become the center of the experience. The portal also makes a clear distinction between what exists now and what is still being built. Points, missions, referrals, and leaderboard tracking are live. Governance, staking, community scores, and regulated maritime portfolios are part of the longer-term roadmap. I also appreciate the basic security reminder: participation is free, and official accounts will never ask for seed phrases or private wallet details. No fake urgency. No pretending everything is already finished. Just a gradual onboarding process into a category most people in crypto have never seriously studied. For now, the most interesting thing about @EthraShip might not be the financial layer. It might be the attempt to teach people how the underlying industry works before asking them to participate in it.
