Tokenized assets surpassed meme coins in daily trading volume for the first time. On June 23, the daily spot trading volume of tokenized assets on Solana exceeded that of meme coins for the first time. On June 24, daily trading volume hit a new high of $644 million. ① This moment holds far greater significance than it appears. For years, a large portion of Solana’s “on-chain activity” came from meme coin trading. Now, tokenized stocks, ETFs, and RWA are taking the lead—and growing at a pace far outstripping memes. In Q2, spot trading volume for tokenized assets reached $5.77 billion, more than seven times the $775 million recorded in H2 2023. ② Catalyst: SpaceX IPO. Backpack Securities issued SPCX (tokenized SpaceX shares), generating $439 million in on-chain trading volume within one week. During the peak of SpaceX-related trading, Solana captured 99% of all related traffic. ③ My personal take: Meme coins brought users and attention to Solana, but tokenized assets bring “real finance.” When trading volume for stocks on-chain surpasses that of meme coins, it’s no longer just a “casino”—it’s becoming an “exchange.” This trend is irreversible. As more equities (SPYx, QQQx, NVDAx) come online and the CLARITY Act provides regulatory clarity, the share of tokenized assets on Solana will only continue to grow. @solana @Solana_zh #TokenizedAssets #Solana #SpaceX #Milestone
