Solana is ahead of Base on AI agent token volume. If we compare the 30-day volume on the @ax1vc agentic Dune dashboard: → Solana: $501M → Base: $341M Base had ~5x more weekly volume than Solana consistently from January through March. The trader count doesn't match the volume at all, though: → Solana: 29,810 unique traders (30d) → Base: 48,831 unique traders (30d) The reason is that Base's agentic ecosystem is dominated by the @virtuals_io protocol, which enables anyone to launch and trade AI agent tokens. Meanwhile, most of Solana's volume comes from bots and automated trading. Which model wins long-term depends on whether you think agentic infra should prioritize liquidity depth or user accessibility. Both are clearly set to expand their agentic ecosystems in their own way.
