According to Rob Hadick, a partner at Dragonfly, Solana and Ethereum will coexist and grow together in the race for asset tokenization, rather than one blockchain completely “defeating” the other. Ethereum is currently where most stablecoins and on-chain asset value are concentrated, making it well suited for finance and tokenization. Meanwhile, Solana stands out for its speed and transaction throughput, making it suitable for applications that require fast processing such as trading. Because the future will see a large number of assets being tokenized, no single blockchain will be able to handle everything. Each blockchain will serve different needs, and there will even be room for new blockchains to emerge.
