NVIDIA is at GTC Berlin this week, and one line from its Dublin stop (Oct 14) stuck with me. NVIDIA’s Deepu Talla said about 70% of GDP is in the physical world. One of the Berlin examples is Siemens using NVIDIA Cosmos to generate synthetic images of good and defective circuit boards, aiming for up to 85% less manual engineering effort on inspection programs. That’s a target, not a result. My take: if most of the economy is physical, the data that teaches AI about it has to come from physical places too. @vangrid_io captures those places with phones, and the activity is checkable: https://t.co/CuZUnFjWbh
