Every major chain keeps repeating the same line: we'll migrate to post-quantum signatures before it matters. Here's what that line is actually hiding. Ethereum's own roadmap targets December 2029. Swapping a 96-byte BLS signature for its leanXMSS replacement means a jump to 3,112 bytes, and native aggregation breaks in the process, forcing a rebuild with zero-knowledge proofs just to get that feature back. Bitcoin hasn't even settled on which migration path to take. None of that is a bug. It's the actual cost of bolting post-quantum security onto a chain that was never designed without signatures in the first place. @QMSNetwork never had that bill to pay, because its block-production lottery never depended on public-key signatures to begin with. There's nothing to swap, because there was nothing fragile there. Every chain promising a smooth migration is quietly asking you to trust a rebuild that hasn't happened yet. Watch what they actually ship, not what their roadmap says.
