BOOM 💥💥💥💥 FedNow going cross-border is a big deal for payments, not because the Fed just put blockchain on its rail. FedNow is still a centralised instant-settlement system. What changes is the US leg of an international transfer can now clear in seconds, 24/7. The overseas leg still needs a private intermediary. That gap is where blockchain actually matters: on demand liquidity, stablecoin corridors, and settlement networks that can move the non-USD piece in seconds instead of waiting on correspondent banks. Instant fiat in. Instant rail out. That is the real merge, not “FedNow is now crypto.”
