At the 17th India–Singapore Strategic Dialogue last week, which I was honoured to be part of, the Track 1.5 conversations under Chatham House Rule were candid & substantive, as they should be. One idea I floated there, and later developed further in the public forum, was a deliberately large ambition: could India and Singapore jointly build a US$1 trillion financial economy over the next decade? Not simply more capital flows, but a much deeper financial architecture around India’s next decade of asset creation and Singapore’s global financial depth and intermediation capabilities, with tokenization & AI as critical building blocks of that architecture. I’ve been putting pen to paper on what it would take to make that ambition real. More soon. @AnantaAspen @NUSingapore @FollowCII
