How did I discover Citrea & why does it excite me? I first heard about Citrea in a Brazilian crypto community back in March 2024. What excites me about Citrea is that they’re actually building something solid. The focus is clearly on long-term infrastructure for $Bitcoin. Seeing things techs like BitVM2, zk-SNARKs verified directly on Bitcoin, a zkEVM execution layer, and a trust-minimized bridge made It's very obvious that this is not a small matter. This opens real opportunities for Bitcoin: ✅Smart contracts and apps without changing Bitcoin’s core rules ✅Scalable execution while keeping Bitcoin’s security guarantees ✅A path for DeFi, programmability, and innovation anchored to BTC The question is, who wouldn't be excited about all of this?
