would you be comfortable receiving your salary onchain if anyone could look up exactly how much you earn? now imagine a company paying hundreds of employees that way. this is one of the reasons I find what @primus_labs is building interesting. last month, Primus and @allscaleio tested confidential payroll on BNB Chain with 4 simulated employee payments. all 4 transactions were recorded onchain, but the salary amounts were encrypted. employees could access their own payment details, and the decrypted figures matched the original payroll records. what surprised me is that wallet addresses and timestamps were still publicly visible. it was the sensitive financial information that stayed hidden. of course, this was only a technical test, not a full production rollout. but think about how useful this could be for companies managing payroll, treasury operations or other sensitive financial transactions. institutions want the benefits of blockchain, but that doesn't mean they want competitors knowing every financial move they make. imo, privacy is going to play a much bigger role in institutional adoption than most people realise. this is one reason I'm paying attention to Primus. https://t.co/S8tY0bLcba
