TermiX Safe operates on a 2-of-3 multisig model. The Safe has three owners, but only two signatures are required to execute a transaction on the BNB Chain. The process begins when one owner creates a proposal, including the target contract, calldata, and nonce. The transaction is hashed into a unique identifier called the safeTxHash. The first owner signs the transaction, followed by the second owner signing the exact same transaction. Once two valid signatures are obtained, any owner or relayer can submit the transaction to the chain for execution by the Safe. This mechanism applies to critical actions such as contract upgrades, owner changes, threshold adjustments, role assignments, and configuration of Escrow, Staking, Reputation, and Vault for @termix_ai. The advantage of a 2-of-3 model is that it reduces risk if one owner loses their private key or becomes compromised. However, this is not yet a fully decentralized governance model. If two out of three owners are compromised or collude, they can still control the Safe and modify core protocol components. In short: 2-of-3 eliminates a single point of failure, but authority remains concentrated in two owners.
