today i went one step further with @primus_labs and tried a Private Send using eU then i opened the transaction on BscScan to see what actually stays private at first it’s easy to assume “private send” means the sender and receiver are hidden too, but that’s not how it works here the wallets and contract interaction are still visible onchain what stays hidden is the transfer amount with a normal token transfer, anyone can open the explorer and see exactly how much wallet A sent to wallet B with eU, the transfer still happens, but the amount stays encrypted that’s where the whole “confidential finance” idea started making a lot more sense to me the goal isn’t to hide financial activity from the blockchain completely it’s to keep using a public chain without broadcasting every sensitive financial detail to everyone on a small transfer this might not feel that important, but once you think about funds, treasuries or large wallets, position size and transfer amount being public becomes a very different issue actually using the product made the difference between privacy and confidentiality much clearer for me next up is the vault side i want to see how yield works when the position itself is encrypted https://t.co/CynLMIgw9R
