The more I look at @primus_labs the more I think the interesting question isn't: “How good is the privacy tech?” It's: “What financial activity actually needs privacy?” Public blockchains are great at transparency. I can verify transactions, follow wallets, and see what is happening onchain. But imagine managing a large position or running an institutional strategy. Do I really want everyone to know how much capital I have, what assets I'm holding, or what I'm doing with them? Probably not. That's why Confidential Finance caught my attention. The interesting part isn't simply hiding transactions. Primus is using FHE to make it possible to perform financial operations while sensitive information remains encrypted. That opens up a more practical direction for onchain finance: private where it needs to be, verifiable where it matters. And this is already moving beyond a theoretical idea, with Primus Confidential Finance being applied to onchain transfers and yield use cases through its work with Unitas and United Stables on BNB Chain. For me, that's the real test. Not how many people can explain FHE. But whether someone managing real capital eventually says: “Yeah, I actually need this.” That's where I'll be watching Primus next.
