JUST IN: The proposal to fund the Cardano Summit 2026 and the ecosystem's presence on Token 2049 is facing strong opposition within the network's own governance structure. The debate not only revolves around the requested amount but also about what kind of spending Cardano should prioritize in a market that remains fragile for ADA. Cardano's D-reps voted overwhelmingly against withdrawing nearly $2.8 million USD worth of ADA from the treasury. The rejection stems from the significant budget increase compared to the Summit 2025, which cost $1.4 million USD.
