On the news front, LayerZero has announced the launch of its blockchain trading platform, ATLAS, in autumn 2026, primarily targeting financial institutions with no consumer-facing application.
ATLAS will be built on LayerZero’s Zero blockchain, announced in February this year, and will initially support spot crypto assets and perpetual contracts, with future plans to expand to prediction markets, futures, and options.
Citadel Securities, DTCC, and ICE, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, are all Zero partners. LayerZero states that on the launch day of ATLAS, top global market makers will provide liquidity.
