In accordance with HashNews, since its launch on October 31 on the Solana blockchain, Zenrock's wrapped Zcash token zenZEC has achieved $15 million in cumulative trading volume. zenZEC combines Zcash's privacy features with Solana's speed and enhances security via Zenrock's decentralized MPC network. The token is backed 1:1 by native ZEC and uses MPC to distribute private keys across multiple nodes, avoiding single points of failure. It integrates seamlessly with Solana's DEXs and yield protocols, offering Zcash holders their first real on-chain DeFi experience in seven years. Currently, zenZEC is driving liquidity and adoption on Solana's Orca DEX, with plans to expand to more DeFi protocols and support staking. Zenrock also plans to launch decentralized custody services and a wrapped Bitcoin token, zenBTC.
