Huo Xing Finance reports, according to The Block, that the on-chain confidentiality protocol Zama will open 16 confidential vaults on Morpho, supporting assets including USDC, USDT, AUSD, and TGBP. Its first vault launched in June in collaboration with Morpho and Steakhouse Financial, utilizing Steakhouse’s USDC Prime strategy and growing total locked value from zero to $40 million within seven weeks. Steakhouse will manage some of the vaults, while Armitage by Wintermute, Flowdesk, RockawayX, and Bitwise will also serve as managers. Users can confidentially access 12 existing non-confidential Morpho vaults on Ethereum, plus four additional vaults created specifically for confidential deposits. Zama is also launching the Zama Swap Protocol, enabling depositors to confidentially exchange cUSDC, cUSDT, cAUSD, and cTGBP along with confidential vault shares on Ethereum without disclosing trade sizes or intentions. Zama states that visibility of positions, balances, and strategies on public blockchains presents a structural barrier to institutional-scale deployment. The vaults will initially be available through Zama’s own application, with Utila, Zerion Wallet, and Yield.xyz set to integrate over the coming weeks.
