On April 18, 2026, the LayerZero bridge of Kelp DAO was compromised due to infrastructure damage, resulting in the theft of approximately $292 million, with the Lazarus Group accused of being the attacker. On June 9, 2026, approximately $32 million was stolen from the Humanity Protocol team’s address and deployer due to compromised developer devices.
The new evidence rules out the possibility of an insider attack.
