Z Squared Inc. (Nasdaq: ZSQR) announced on Friday that it has begun site planning and preliminary engineering design for its Union County campus in El Dorado, Arkansas. The company has also engaged A2 Advisors to provide recommendations on campus development, project delivery, vendor and partner coordination, and customer leasing strategies.
Z Squared stated that the facility was acquired through the purchase of Paradox Data, LLC, a transaction completed on September 8, 2026. The company noted that the site is now powered, with approximately 8 megawatts of available utility power under current service arrangements.
The company stated that the site planning will provide detailed development plans covering layout, power and cooling, land use, and phased construction. Z Squared is designing these plans around industry-leading technical requirements to support the latest AI infrastructure platforms. The company said this information comes from multiple potential tenants, and it plans to evaluate specific configurations to maximize the efficiency of the campus.
“Electricity is the most difficult resource to secure for AI infrastructure, and our Union County campus already has this in place,” said David Halabu, CEO of Z Squared. “Our current task is to convert this electricity into usable capacity for tenants. We are designing the campus around the requirements of potential tenants, and A2 Advisors brings development expertise and leasing execution discipline to advance these discussions.”
“Union County is a strategic location for delivering AI infrastructure capacity at scale,” said Andrew Albrecht, founder and CEO of A2 Advisors. “Our focus is on aligning this capacity with industry demand.”
The company stated that, in the long term, its development plan aims for up to approximately 150 megawatts of AI-ready capacity. The capacity beyond the current 8 megawatts is part of this development goal and is not yet under contract, energized, or delivered. Achieving this target depends on additional power arrangements, tenant commitments, financing, permits, and construction.
