SINGAPORE, Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — YYForce Inc. (Nasdaq: YFOR), Novotel Singapore on Stevens, and Mercure Singapore on Stevens today announced a collaboration to introduce service robots across a combined total of 772 rooms at the two hotels, while advancing research and development in AI and humanoid robotics. This partnership will integrate confirmed operational deployments with research based on hotel workflows, aiming to enhance guest services and develop future hotel capabilities.
This partnership will establish a fully operational environment spanning 772 guest rooms, restaurants, and event spaces. The hotel will provide its operational expertise and a real-world setting for evaluating the technology, while YYForce will supply robotic capabilities and technical support, developing a model that integrates human, AI, and robotic workforces. The operational goal is to enhance service consistency while reducing repetitive tasks such as delivery, transportation, and cleaning, enabling hotel staff to dedicate more time to guest-facing services.
Preliminary pre-deployment comparisons indicate that monthly operational costs are expected to decrease by approximately 10% in housekeeping, concierge, and food and beverage operations, with robot costs already factored into the model. Actual costs, productivity, and guest service outcomes will be evaluated after deployment.
Piotr Kupiec, General Manager of Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens, said: "In the hotel, every round trip for delivering items and every repetitive task consumes time. We aim to use robots thoughtfully, allowing our team to focus on what matters most to our guests."
Between the two hotels, the opportunity lies in rethinking how work flows through operations. Our success will be measured by whether we can deliver more consistent service and make our Heartists' daily work easier.
The first phase, confirmed, will introduce dedicated service robots for guest delivery, food logistics, scheduled cleaning, and concierge support. Deployment preparations include elevator integration, route planning, network requirements, and guest arrival notifications. This deployment aims to establish an operational environment in which YYForce can evaluate robotic applications in hotel logistics, facilities, and guest services.
The second phase will focus on YYForce’s humanoid system and its future iterations. Authorized observation and agreed-upon operational data usage arrangements will provide insights for selected room cleaning and banquet workflows to drive the development of the robot’s hardware, software, and AI systems.
Mike Fu, CEO of YYForce, said: “Working in real-world hotel environments gives us the opportunity to advance our robotics development from controlled demonstrations to actual workflows.”
This partnership connects technologies that can be deployed today with the operational insights needed to develop the next generation of workforce solutions.
Our goal is to develop the technology, operational expertise, and licensed training data needed for humans, AI, specialized service robots, and humanoid robots to collaborate in hotels, facility management, and other service-intensive industries. This is a practical step toward realizing the YYForce 2030 vision and our commitment to “Forging Forward Together.”
The two partners aim to jointly accumulate practical knowledge on how humans, AI, and robots can enhance hotel operations. This collaboration aligns the hotel’s focus on guest service and making employee tasks more manageable with YYForce’s 2030 vision of creating an integrated workforce ecosystem. The attached materials outline the deployment scope, AI research plan, and long-term strategy.

Appendix A: Deployment and Operational Context
Service robot deployment has been confirmed at Novotel Singapore on Stevens and Mercure Singapore on Stevens. Deployment has not yet begun. The following description outlines the planned scope; individual robot assignments and operational arrangements will be finalized prior to launch.
Deployment Preparation
Preparation will involve robot route planning, elevator configuration, network requirements, and guest notifications. Tasks and operational areas will be aligned with the robots’ capabilities and the hotel’s service needs. The level of technical readiness will determine the implementation sequence.
Technology and Support
YYForce will provide hardware, software updates, maintenance, and technical personnel in accordance with the memorandum of understanding. The scope of support and commercial arrangements shall be subject to the final agreement between both parties.
Why operational capability matters
According to data from the Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore’s hotel industry recorded an average occupancy rate of 81.9% in 2025, up from 81.4% in 2024, with international visitor arrivals reaching 16.9 million. These industry-level metrics provide context for this collaboration’s focus on service capacity and productivity.
Operational goals
Preliminary comparisons indicate that monthly operational costs for certain functions are expected to decrease by approximately 10% with robotic support, including the robot costs listed in the model. This estimate applies only to the operations covered in the comparison. Another planning assumption estimates a potential 5% reduction in overtime costs for the housekeeping department. These two estimates are based on different methodologies and should not be combined as cumulative savings. Both are subject to the cost ranges, operational scope, and service assumptions in the model; actual results will be evaluated after deployment. Proposed performance metrics include delivery turnaround time, tasks completed per labor hour, reliability, colleague workload, and guest feedback.
Appendix B: AI and Humanoid Robot Development
Future Hotel Application Research
The second phase of this partnership will focus on training and developing YYForce’s humanoid robot system and its future iterations. The proposed research will leverage hotel workflows to help the company understand the physical tasks and service requirements that future humanoid systems will need to handle.
How hotel workflows can serve as a reference for AI development
This program aims to connect observations of certain hotel tasks with the development of robotic hardware, software, and AI systems. YYForce’s humanoid units are expected to train alongside hotel staff in designated scenarios, helping researchers understand how people move, perform tasks, and adapt to different service environments.
Housekeeping research
Observe the selected room service workflows to map out actions, physical environments, and spatial requirements. This effort aims to help YYForce understand the complex tasks involved in room cleaning and translate them into future automated room cleaning capabilities.
Study of Banquet and Guest Services
The selected banquet workflow will help researchers understand action requirements, service processes, and adaptability to event scenarios. These observations aim to support future banquet and guest service applications.
YYForce plans to use licensed observational and agreed-upon operational data to enhance its robotics hardware, software, and AI systems. This research involves future capabilities and does not imply that humanoid systems are ready to independently clean occupied guest rooms or operate banquets on their own.
Operational environment for technical development
The hotel integrates housekeeping, logistics, food and beverage, facility management, and guest services. This partnership aims to move YYForce’s robotics strategy beyond the demonstration phase and enable the company to evaluate how dedicated service robots and future humanoid systems can collaborate with humans in these functions. YYForce expects these insights will help inform applications adaptable to other service-intensive environments.
Research data and intellectual property
The contractual arrangements agreed upon by both parties will govern the research activities, permitted data usage, and ownership of research outcomes. YYForce aims to develop proprietary robotic knowledge and operational datasets through licensed research, while the hotel retains its rights to its operational processes, confidential business information, and brand assets. Any use of personal data relating to guests or employees requires separate review and appropriate safeguards.
YYForce additional comment
We can deploy specialized robots for tasks that are already automatable, while training humanoid systems to understand more complex hotel operations, such as room cleaning and banquet management.
