YouTube now lets US creators receive payouts in PayPal’s PYUSD stablecoin, a crypto asset with a current market cap of $3.9 billion. PayPal’s May Zabaneh confirmed the feature is live for US users, allowing YouTube to offer stablecoin options without directly handling crypto. The move could boost PYUSD’s adoption among YouTube’s large creator base. The feature is currently limited to the US, with no global rollout date announced.
