YGG Play Announces Shutdown Plan; Users Urged to Redeem Points by July 31

According to ME News, on July 8 (UTC+8), YGG Play, the Web3 gaming publishing arm of YGG, released a shutdown guide outlining the timeline and important notices for users. The announcement states that, starting at 3:00 PM Singapore time on July 9, the purchase functions and all platform mission systems for “LOL Land” and “Waifu Sweeper” will be discontinued. July 31 will be the final day of platform support, after which the main website yggplay.fun, the Launchpad (app.yggplay.fun), and the Community Missions site (community.yggplay.fun) will be permanently shut down. Users are advised to complete YGG unstaking and in-game point redemptions before July 31. Any compliant balances not processed by the deadline will be automatically converted and distributed to associated wallets following a snapshot on the cutoff date; however, no manual support will be available after this time. The games “GIGACHADBAT” and “Ragnarok Breaker” will be taken over and continue to be operated by the Delabs team and Planetarium Labs respectively, starting August 1, with new token redemption processes being introduced.
