XRP Price Rally Suggests End to Long-Term Downtrend
In the last 24 hours, the XRP price is up 26.2%, shooting past $1.52 amid strong trading volumes. With this, Ripple crypto has extended its weekly gains to 65%, emerging as the strongest crypto market performer.
Analyst CW said XRP price has broken through a major resistance line and is continuing its upward trend. According to the analyst, the long-term downtrend has ended, with XRP now transitioning into a bullish trend.

Besides, the analyst believes that there’s room for further upside from here. He noted that after breaking the $1.5 ceiling, Ripple holds upside potential till $2.5. There’s no major whale resistance until then.
This shows that the analyst is bullish on another 60% upside for the Ripple price from the current levels.
XRP Price to $10 Is Very Much Possible
Analyst Crypto Patel added that the XRP price reaching $10 is realistically possible. He makes this bold prediction based on previous price moves and current market setup.
Crypto Patel said that back in 207, the XRP price surged from $0.006 to more than $3 in 2018. Similarly, in November 2024, the Ripple crypto surged from $0.50 to $2.60 in 30 days. XRP is currently trading above $1.20, with the analyst identifying $0.60–$1 as an accumulation zone.
Crypto Patel highlighted XRP’s fast transactions, low fees, and real-world payment adoption as factors supporting the bullish outlook. The analyst said $10–$20 is possible and questioned what factors could be limiting XRP’s upside.

Moreover, fundamental growth of the Ripple ecosystem could also support this price movement. Recently, Ripple has backed a new lending initiative on the XRP Ledger. The firm has partnered with Cicada Partners and Clearpool to develop credit markets using RLUSD.
This initiative will support businesses seeking working capital through onchain credit. However, the underlying XRP Ledger lending features still require validator approval before they can be fully deployed.
XRP ETF Attracts $13 Million Inflows Amid Demand Surge
As crypto ETFs once again attract institutional capital, XRP plays a key role. Spot XRP ETFs recorded $13.24 million in net inflows on August 20.
This extends their net inflow streak to three consecutive days. Since the start of July, XRP ETFs have recorded just three days of net outflows and now hold nearly $1.2 billion worth of XRP tokens.

On August 21, the XRP ETFs recorded another $18.38 million in net inflows. Bitwise and Franklin ETFs were at the top of the leaderboard.
Bitwise accounted for 92% of the total inflows, attracting $16.89 million in a single day. At the same time, Franklin recorded $1.49 million in inflows, as per data from SoSoValue.
