Brett Molin has been appointed as Executive Director
The head of the new organization is Brett Molin, who has been appointed as Executive Director of the XRP Ledger Foundation. Molin will be responsible for overseeing the foundation’s long-term strategy, including engineering, partnerships, operations, and community initiatives.
He has over 10 years of experience in the cryptocurrency industry, which will contribute to the development of the XRPL ecosystem. The foundation noted that earlier this year, community members had already observed Mollin becoming more active in discussions around XRPL.
Dennis Angel has been appointed Chief Technology Officer.

Angell is known in the XRP Ledger developer community for his work on the XRPL codebase. He will move from XRPL Labs to the XRP Ledger Foundation and will lead technical development efforts.

Former Ripple executive joins operations team
The foundation also announced the appointment of Rene Huijsen as Director of Operations. Huijsen previously served as Director of Payment Operations at Ripple. Additionally, he participated in a cross-border payment task force at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS).
According to the foundation, he will be responsible for operations and financial coordination to support ecosystem development.

Meanwhile, one of the most notable appointments in the XRP community is Hussein Zangana (better known as Vet) being named Community Director.
Vet has long been recognized in the XRP community for operating validators, creating educational content, submitting amendment proposals, hosting X Spaces and live streams, and co-founding projects such as XRP Cafe.
