According to 1M AI News, the independent AI model evaluation platform Artificial Analysis—which benchmarks over 400 models on intelligence, speed, and cost using standardized metrics—has today added Xiaomi’s MiMo-V2-Pro, labeled as a proprietary inference model with a release date of March 18, 2026. The model supports a 1 million token context window, with a maximum output of 32,000 tokens; its parameter count has not been disclosed and it is currently offered for free. On the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index, MiMo-V2-Pro ranks #1 among 160 models in its price tier (under $0.15 per million tokens), scoring 49—far exceeding the median score of 13 in this category.
Community analysis has confirmed that MiMo-V2-Pro is the same model that launched anonymously on OpenRouter on March 11 under the name "Hunter Alpha." This model ranks first on OpenRouter in terms of usage, consuming 500 billion tokens per week. The OpenRouter page describes it as a 1-trillion-parameter agent-oriented model, but this figure has not been verified by Xiaomi. Evidence includes matching special tokens in the tokenizer with those in the MiMo V2 series, as well as the model identifying itself during conversations as developed by Xiaomi.
Also appearing alongside is MiMo-V2-Omni (corresponding to "Healer Alpha" on OpenRouter), which supports text, image, audio, and video inputs, with a context window of 262,000 tokens. Xiaomi has not yet issued an official announcement regarding either of these models.
Xiaomi's MiMo-V2-Pro, unveiled as OpenRouter's 'Hunter Alpha', ranks as the top cost-effective AI model.
