Previously, the team was led by young engineer Diego Pasini. The new leader is Jack Garabedian, who has been an engineer on the Starlink project at SpaceX since 2021. After joining xAI, he will take over the "Human Data Team," a group of hundreds of experts responsible for training Grok across fields ranging from finance to science.
