PANews, July 16: Nikita Bier, Head of Product at X, announced updates to the Creator Monetization Program: accounts that repeatedly post content such as “follow back if you reply” three or more times will be removed from the program and reported to the policy team for suspension. Grok can now fully detect such behavior, and nearly 4,000 accounts have been removed today. Additionally, the new model detects duplicate content with three times the accuracy of the previous model. Adding watermarks, intros, or other edits will attribute the monetized views to the original uploader. This also applies to copied viral text posts. This cycle has detected 1.5 million stolen posts. Repeated or intentional circumvention of this mechanism will result in account removal from the program. Through these changes, the X team will return over $1 million in earnings to original content creators.
