As reported by Bijié Wǎng, Wirex has officially launched a dual stablecoin Visa settlement service on the Stellar blockchain, supporting USDC and EURC. The service, developed in collaboration with the Stellar Development Foundation, enables on-chain card payment processing. Wirex co-founder Pavel Matveev stated that the service offers faster and cheaper payment options than traditional banks while maintaining Visa integration. Visa's cryptocurrency head Cuy Sheffield highlighted the innovation's improved payment speed and transparency, while Stellar CEO Denelle Dixon emphasized its compliance for cross-border payments. Users can access lower fees, 24/7 service, and support for USD/EUR transactions via the Wirex Pay infrastructure.
