Huo Xing Finance reports, according to Bitcoin News monitoring, the white-hat hacker group behind the Liquid vulnerability exploit accuses Blockstream of spending only $1.5 million—or possibly nothing at all—to secure assets worth $5 billion. In a new on-chain message, the group demands that Blockstream pay a bounty equivalent to 10% of the affected assets using its own funds, warning that refusal to pay will result in holders suffering a 15% loss. The group also stated it will disclose the private key used to decrypt prior communications with Blockstream. Previously, the group returned 3,400 BTC to the Liquid Federation, with approximately 600 BTC still outstanding.
