Odaily Planet Daily reports: Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on X, acknowledging the Bitcoin community for its contributions to advancing technological concepts, including UTXO (unspent transaction output) state optimization solutions like Utreexo. Ethereum’s current scaling roadmap is actively integrating the strengths of different blockchain state models in practice.
Vitalik Buterin noted that Ethereum aims to leverage the advantages of UTXO-style state, dynamic state, and solutions in between, enabling "hyperscale" for the vast majority of network activity without compromising decentralization, ease of node operation, or censorship resistance.
Vitalik Buterin stated that Ethereum's future scaling will not simply involve replicating a single architecture, but rather aim to combine different design philosophies to increase throughput while maintaining the network's openness and security.
Among these, Utreexo is a state compression scheme proposed by the Bitcoin ecosystem that reduces node storage requirements through accumulator technology, making full node operation more lightweight and considered beneficial for enhancing Bitcoin’s long-term scalability.
