Citing PANews, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has introduced a new privacy and compliance solution called Kohaku. Unlike previous solutions such as Tornado and Railgun, Kohaku uses zero-knowledge proofs and elliptic curve cryptography to allow users to receive funds via one-time stealth addresses, ensuring privacy while enabling compliance through optional ZK proofs for institutional transactions.
