Computer science Ph.D. Fabrizio Romano Genovese agreed, explaining that Ethereum becomes more like Bitcoin during such periods. Polygon's spokesperson added that the lack of finality may affect infrastructure like cross-chain bridges and Layer2 solutions, but Polygon will continue to function normally, albeit with potential delays in transfers and transactions until finality is restored.
