ChainCatcher reports, according to The Block, that institutional payment giants Visa and Stripe, along with Standard Chartered’s Zodia Custody, have become early validators of Tempo. Tempo is an Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 blockchain built for high-throughput payments and stablecoin settlement. The project, incubated by Stripe and Paradigm, launched on a private testnet in September. Additionally, Tempo has introduced a proxy payment protocol designed to enable transactions via software agents.
