PANews, March 22: According to on-chain analyst Yujin, the attacker behind the recent Venus exploit converted the BNB, BTC, and CAKE stolen from Venus five hours ago into ETH and transferred it to the Ethereum chain. A total of 2,178 BNB, 20 BTC, and 1.466 million CAKE were exchanged for 2,257.3 ETH (approximately $4.72 million). On-chain data shows that the attacker used roughly $9.92 million in USDT to execute the attack and has now recovered approximately $5 million in ETH. It remains unclear whether the attacker also profited from long/short trading of THE on centralized exchanges in conjunction with this attack.
