A recent Dataviva poll shows 90% of Venezuelans oppose U.S. military threats, with 97% rejecting claims that Venezuela’s oil belongs to the U.S. Support and resistance levels remain clear in public sentiment, as 90% also oppose the U.S. labeling Venezuela a "foreign terrorist organization." With 92% against a maritime blockade, the risk-to-reward ratio for any aggressive U.S. action appears heavily stacked against it.
