USDT and USDC Daily Transfer Volume Reaches $192 Billion, Twice That of Top 5 Crypto Assets

On December 20, data from Glassnode shows the 90-day average daily transfer volume of USDT and USDC is around $192 billion. This is nearly double the combined transfer volume of the top five crypto assets, which sits at about $103 billion. Stablecoins are increasingly used in liquidity and settlement. On the Tron network, USDT and USDC daily transfers hit $24.2 billion, 10 times the XRP chain’s volume. What is clear is that stablecoins are dominating cross-chain activity.
