PANews, August 8: According to official data, over the seven days ending August 6, Circle issued approximately $6.3 billion in USDC and redeemed approximately $6.4 billion in USDC, resulting in a net reduction of about $100 million in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is $71.8 billion, with reserves totaling approximately $72 billion, comprising about $51.8 billion in overnight reverse repurchase agreements on U.S. Treasuries, approximately $9 billion in U.S. Treasuries with maturities under three months, about $10 billion in deposits at systemically important institutions, and approximately $1.2 billion in other bank deposits.
